Neighbor-To-Neighbor: A Conversation On the Role of Neighborhood & Service Organizations in Creating COVID-Free Communities

It feels like we spent an eternity in isolation so we’re all itching to get back in circulation. Date nights, family reunions, cook-outs, block parties – they’re all in full effect, and ‘normalcy’ feels like it might be JUST around the corner. But we’re not out of the woods yet! We need 70% of the population vaccinated to reach herd immunity, or we risk even more dangerous COVID-19 variants sending us back into lockdown, and our most vulnerable falling behind.

Neighborhood & Service Organizations can play a key role in making COVID-19 vaccination more accessible, educating community members about the benefits of getting vaccinated so they can make empowered choices.

Neighbor-To-Neighbor & Alive & In Color will bring together representatives from Fulton County Government, medical experts, and local community leaders, to ask the hard questions, and share solutions for empowering vaccine equity, stopping the spread, and creating COVID-free communities through conversations that matter.

Panel Topics Include:
– The Importance of Reaching Herd Immunity
– The COVID Vaccine Equity Gap in Fulton County
– How Fear & Misinformation Block The Road To Recovery
– Vaccine Science, Simplified
– Opportunities to Help Close Gap
